Insolvency

An individual, organisation, or state is insolvent when it lacks liquidity and is no longer able to meet its debt obligations as they become due (cash-flow insolvency) or when its liabilities are greater than its assets (balance sheet insolvency). This can arise out of poor cash management, a reduction in forecasted cash inflows, or increase in cash expenses.
